About Alison

Alison, described as “inspirational and aspirational”, is Managing Director of this award-winning training and management consultancy which she set up in 1990. Since then, she has been at the forefront of helping individuals, teams and organisations become the best they can be.  A staggering 36,000 employees, managers and business owners now perform more successfully as a result of being trained by Alison.

This unrivalled expertise has helped over 150 organisations across all sectors.  Not only content to be an expert in her own field, Alison also goes to great lengths to ensure that she has an in-depth understanding of the business environment and needs of her clients. This has even included going to the extreme of taking professional examinations in certain sectors. As a result, she is respected, renowned and sought-after by those looking for the best in people management and development.  This has seen her working in organisations as diverse as financial services, dental practices, dental deaneries, the NHS, insurance, call centres, local government, charities, housing associations, legal practices, accountants, doctors, and regulators, in the UK and beyond. What binds these clients together is the need to get the very best out of their people. And that’s exactly what Alison trains them to do.

Clients often comment that the experience she is able to draw upon from her diverse client base benefits them far more than using a consultancy specialising in only one sector. As a people development expert Alison designs and delivers first class training and development solutions using a variety of training and development methods.  These are combined with her own unique skills and experience to ensure that every client gets a tailored solution every time.

Alison is highly qualified in her own right. She is a graduate of Warwick University, has a degree in Business Studies and German, has numerous post graduate management qualifications, is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and has taught Chartered Management Institute courses at the highest level. Alison is also an accredited Illumine trainer.

With a coaching qualification she is also a Corporate & Executive and Personal Performance Coach and often works with those most senior in organisations on a one to one basis.  This, combined with her passion and talent for group training and facilitation, and her experience of running a successful business for 20 years, means that she is a powerful and unique resource for her clients.

Her success has won her many accolades including Better Business Awards, Finalist of Businesswoman of the Year and Winner in November 2010 of an Education and Lifelong Learning Award. Alison is a regular contributor to professional magazines and journals and is in demand for speaking engagements throughout the country.  As you would expect, she is passionate about achievement and her own development and is about to complete Mind mapping accreditation and also become one of Ecademy’s first digital/social media coaches.
