Alison
Alison is founder and CEO of Training To Achieve. She’s been at the leading edge of training design and delivery for this award-winning consultancy since 1990. Alison has set the culture here and leads from the front. As a result the Training To Achieve team shares her passion for achievement and enabling people to become the best they can be through leading edge training, management development and HR solutions. Alison is joined by a range of highly talented individuals, each of whom bring clients unique expertise. Meet some of these below:
Lois
Lois has worked within the learning and development arena for 19 years successfully designing and delivering management development and performance improvement solutions for organisations in a variety of sectors, and in various parts of the world. Lois is a member of the CIPD; she is accredited to administer MBTI, DiSC, Facet5 and Situational Leadership, and is also a Master Practitioner of NLP.
Deborah
Deborah holds an impressive track record in Leadership and Management Development, Cultural Change, Personal Effectiveness and Career Transition. Deborah is a graduate of the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) and an NLP Practitioner. As well as working in all sectors Deborah has a 15 year track record in the Housing Sector.
David
David has over 25 years experience in Management, Leadership and Business Development as a trainer, coach and consultant working with leading Organisations in both the private and public sector in the UK, Europe and Asia. In particular David is dedicated to finding ways of practically and effectively transferring learning back into the working environment. David has a degree in Business and Management and is a fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management.
Colette
Colette has a proven track record in Sales and Customer Service Management combined with training, coaching & leadership skills gives Colette the ability to deliver with a high degree of credibility and confidence.
Her practical focus ensures that participants and the client company achieve desired results fast.
Julie
Julie is an established and successful trainer, coach and mentor with 15 years experience of programme development design and delivery. She has worked for for blue chip clients across a range of industries including manufacturing, banking, retail, education, utilities, leisure, catering and telecommunications.
Elaine
Elaine specialises in leadership and management development. As well as being a Chartered Member of the CIPD, she is also an accredited Thomas International, MBTI and OPQ32 behavioural assessor, and Certified Business Practitioner of NLP.
Elaine works across public, private, and third sectors.
Ian
Ian has over 25 years experience as a trainer, facilitator and coach. Ian specialises in supporting newly appointed team leaders and managers, coaching managers as they progress through their careers and helping people to develop their communication skills. Ian is Chair of his local Group of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
Tania
Tania is an accomplished coach, trainer and facilitator with a wealth of experience and knowledge across training design, delivery and evaluation. She has a proven record in the design and delivery of coaching interventions along with individual and team development programmes particularly in high performing and arduous environments.
Irene
Irene has a strong business background and experience in Diversity & Inclusion, Customer Service, Culture Change, Leadership and Team Development. With the acquisition and application of new knowledge, skills, values and especially behaviours, effective leadership brings about improved performance and positive change. As a Facilitator and Coach she helps leaders learn and adapt so that they improve their own performance, their team’s performance and, crucially, the performance of their organisation. She facilitates movement from being “reactive” to “proactive” engagement through behavioural change.
Stewart

Stewart is an experienced and highly successful development professional with a great track record in both private and public sectors. Educated to Masters level he has 20 years’ of experience designing and applying professional development initiatives for individuals and teams.
As Director of Learning in one of the Big 4 professional services firms, Stewart transformed the learning function into a world-class team responsible for all learning programmes within the business, including talent development and assessment at the most senior level. He played a major role in developing the firm’s global programmes, and has advised and designed and delivered programmes in many countries.
Carolyn

Carolyn has had a successful career in Human Resource management since the 1980s. She graduated from Liverpool University with a History degree and discovered her passion for HR. She has provided professional HR & training services to organisations in private and public sectors.
Carolyn genuinely values the contribution that effective Human Resources management can make to achieving business objectives. Carolyn has been a trusted consultant for us since 1995.
Gordon

Gordon is our Company Secretary. He has over 20 year’s experience in business, after a career with NatWest. Now working in the charity sector he has been involved in policy development work at the Department for Education, Department for Health and project work at the Home Office. Gordon is currently the Chief Executive of the College of Emergency Medicine. He was formerly the Director of Resources & Planning at the General Dental Council (GDC). He has a Masters Degree in Business Administration, is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and a PRINCE2 practitioner. He set up and led the GDC’s Dental Complaints Service which has set the benchmark for innovative leading edge complaints resolution. Outside of work Gordon’s life centres on his wife, children and his pack of five Jack Russells!
Lauren
Lauren joined in September 2008, as Client Services Manager, after three years working in Recruitment. She provides first class administrative and support services to us and our clients. She shares our passion for customer service and takes a lead role in our corporate social responsibility initiatives. In July 2009 she finished her Personnel qualification at University College Suffolk and has a promising career in Human Resources ahead of her. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys going to the gym, running, and of course shopping!
