Some key members of our team:
Alison Miles–Jenkins

Alison is our Managing Director, having founded this training and management consultancy business in 1990. She has twenty-seven years’ experience of training, management development and organisation development in both UK and overseas organisations. She graduated from Warwick University and is a Fellow of the CIPD. She has previously held senior management positions, in public and private sectors. A dynamic business person with a strong background in HR and OD consultancy, she delivers customer focussed added-value projects.
Her personal portfolio includes presenting and facilitating a wide range of learning and talent development solutions as well as taking on Organisational Development projects linked to client policies and strategies. She is able to leverage excellent return on investment when linking Human Resource Management and Development to strategic direction. She has an outstanding reputation with her clients and has worked with many of these for more than sixteen years. Apart from the business, Alison’s passions in life include her husband, her three kids, five Jack Russells, learning the guitar and the gym!
John

John has amassed twenty-seven years’ business experience, most notably with two blue-chip companies: the world’s largest Insurance Broker and a FTSE100 Outsource Provider. He has a proven track record and significant achievements that underline outstanding training, organisational design, operational management, project management and communication skills. He is also NEBOSH qualified.
Innovative, enthusiastic, hardworking and professional in approach with a ‘can do’ attitude he has a reputation for rigorous delivery against objectives and timelines. He makes a significant contribution, delivering tailored training, coaching and mentoring. His other achievements include writing three sports’ books, one of which won awards, and playing cricket for Norfolk.
Stewart

Stewart is an experienced and highly successful development professional with a great track record in both private and public sectors. Educated to Masters level he has 20 years’ of experience designing and applying professional development initiatives for individuals and teams.
As Director of Learning in one of the Big 4 professional services firms, Stewart transformed the learning function into a world-class team responsible for all learning programmes within the business, including talent development and assessment at the most senior level. He played a major role in developing the firm’s global programmes, and has advised and designed and delivered programmes in many countries.
Carolyn

Carolyn has had a successful career in Human Resource management since the 1980s. She graduated from Liverpool University with a History degree and discovered her passion for HR. She has provided professional HR & training services to organisations in private and public sectors.
Carolyn genuinely values the contribution that effective Human Resources management can make to achieving business objectives. Carolyn has been a trusted consultant for us since 1995.
Gordon

Gordon is our Company Secretary. He has over 20 year’s experience in business, after a career with NatWest. Now working in the public sector he has been involved in policy development work at the Department for Education, Department for Health and project work at the Home Office. Gordon is currently the Director of Resources & Planning at the General Dental Council (GDC). He has a Masters Degree in Business Administration, is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and a PRINCE2 practitioner. He set up and led the GDC’s Dental Complaints Service which has set the benchmark for innovative leading edge complaints resolution. Outside of work Gordon’s life centres on his wife, children and his pack of five Jack Russells!
Lauren

Lauren joined in September 2008, as Client Services Manager, after three years working in Recruitment. She provides first class administrative and support services to us and our clients. She shares our passion for customer service and takes a lead role in our corporate social responsibility initiatives. In July 2009 she finished her Personnel qualification at University College Suffolk and has a promising career in Human Resources ahead of her. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys going to the gym, running, and of course shopping!
